Sporting Lagos resumed their survival challenge with a huge defeat in Rivers.
The Techboys flattered to deceive after coming back from a goal down to end the first half 1-1. Tochukwu Micheal’s 45th-minute penalty cancelled out Samuel Antwi’s 26th-minute opener. Rivers United however opened the gates of hell after play resumed in the second half with a hattrick from Andy Okpe leaving the Tech-boys just two points above the drop zone.
Fans of Sporting Lagos will be asking themselves if Paul offor was the problem because this is the club’s heaviest defeat since their debut in the NPFL,
