The much-anticipated second leg of the Ikorodu Ramadan Cup knockout match between Bofa FC and Sharon FC ended with another dominant display from Bofa, who secured a comfortable 2-1 victory. This result, following their 5-0 thrashing in the first leg, gave Bofa an overwhelming 7-1 aggregate score and confirmed their progression to the next round.
No Miracle Comeback
Fans had speculated whether Sharon FC might attempt to overturn the substantial first-leg deficit or at least reduce the margin significantly. However, these hopes quickly evaporated as Bofa continued where they left off in the previous encounter.
Sharon FC appeared to be playing primarily for pride, unable to mount the aggressive offensive strategy needed to overcome such a large deficit. Meanwhile, Bofa showed no signs of complacency despite their commanding position.

First Half Dominance
Bofa wasted little time establishing control, taking a commanding 2-0 lead before halftime. The opening goal came from Babatunde Lawal, whose clinical finish further dampened any hopes of a Sharon comeback. Taofik Rasaq added the second, extending the aggregate score to a daunting 7-0.
Sharon’s Consolation
The second half saw Sharon FC manage to pull one goal back through Onyekachi Nzowulu. While this moment provided some consolation for Sharon’s supporters, it did little to affect the overall outcome of the tie.
