As the curtain rises on a new and promising Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season, the Female Football Clubs Association of Nigeria (FEFCAN) has extended a heartfelt goodwill message to its affiliate clubs, Dannaz Ladies and Castmog Ladies, urging them to stay motivated and give their best performances throughout the campaign.
In a statement released by FEFCAN, the association expressed confidence in the preparedness and potential of both clubs to make an impact this season. While Dannaz Ladies will look to build on their impressive performances from previous campaigns, Castmog Ladies are set to make their debut appearance in the NWFL, a milestone that FEFCAN described as “a testament to growth, resilience, and the expanding influence of women’s football across Nigeria.”
“We are proud of our affiliate teams for their hard work and commitment. As the new NWFL season begins, we encourage Dannaz Ladies and Castmog Ladies to remain focused, disciplined, and united. FEFCAN also took a moment to commend the NWFL Board for its forward-thinking virtual and online registration initiative, noting that the development demonstrates a major step toward modernization, transparency, and efficiency in league administration.
“The online registration initiative is a commendable move that aligns with global best practices. It simplifies processes and enhances the professional outlook of our league,” FEFCAN added.
As anticipation builds across the nation, FEFCAN reaffirmed its commitment to supporting its member clubs through advocacy, collaboration, and continuous motivation , ensuring that Nigerian female footballers continue to thrive both on and off the pitch.
