After a comprehensive review and thoughtful deliberation, the management of Sokoto United FC has decided to part ways with Coach Mansur Abdullahi, effective immediately.

This decision was made with the best interests of the club in mind, as the team’s performance and progress were carefully assessed to determine the need for a change in leadership to achieve our goals and aspirations.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Assistant Coach Peter Ajani as the new head coach, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience with the team to ensure a smooth transition. The management has every confidence in Coach Ajani’s ability to lead Sokoto United FC to success, building on the solid foundation established by his predecessor.

The club would like to express its sincere appreciation for Coach Abdullahi’s contributions and dedication during his tenure and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors. Meanwhile, Coach Ajani will assume his new role with immediate effect, preparing the team for upcoming challenges and working tirelessly to achieve our objectives. We are confident that this change will propel the team forward and yield positive results.”
